and more people are realizing the importance of exercise. Besides
the obvious benefits of losing excess body fat, increasing lean
muscle tissue, and improved endurance and energy levels, it also
makes you feel good.
Other benefits include, improved
digestion and elimination, a healthier cardiovascular system,
strong and healthy bones (preventing and even reversing bone loss),
prevention and better control of diabetes, and many other wonderful
health benefits.
While it is true that exercise is
good for us it must be done in a safe and efficient manner. It
is with this thought in mind that I have included on this web
site a section on how to properly exercise. Not only will you
find information on exercise but I will inform you about various
exercise machines as to which ones are safe and which ones are
not.
If you are curious about my background,
I have been involved in the study of exercise science and technique
for over 30 years. I have trained literally hundreds of people
from all backgrounds and ages. From the housewife who just wants
to lose a few pounds to the seasoned athlete, powerlifter, and
bodybuilder. My experience in the use and familiarity of exercise
equipment is quite extensive.
You will learn that many of the popular
exercises that are used today are very dangerous and why. Also,
you will learn about proper and safe exercise technique that will
make your exercise sessions more enjoyable and result producing.
This section will be an ongoing
process as I continue to add more information about exercise and
