*Boron
(as
boron glycinate complex)
Albion Mineral |
Clinical
observations: Boron supplementation was effective for about 90%
of arthritis patients including rheumatoid arthritis, most with complete
remission of symptoms. It was especially effective for juvenile arthritis.
Patients normally took 6-9 mg of elemental boron daily to achieve symptom
relief followed by a maintenance dose of 3 mg daily.1, 2
Boron has been found useful in the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis
as well. Studies have provided evidence that this mineral is essential
for the action of vitamin D, the vitamin that allows the body to absorb
and utilize calcium, and maintain a healthy immune system. Also, it appears
to reduce calcium loss by increasing the beneficial effects of estrogen
on bone health |
