Vitamin
D3 (natural source) - Research shows that vitamin D
influences the immune system by decreasing inflammation which

Bio-Active Form of Folate
Folate is required for important metabolic functions such as
homocysteine metabolism and especially DNA repair. Research
shows inefficient homocysteine control and DNA repair will contribute
to increasing the risks of heart disease, osteoporosis and cancers
such as breast, uterine, cervix, prostate, and colon, and premature
aging. Folate in food is easily destroyed by cooking, heat,
air, and light. Folate deficiency is considered the most common
nutrient deficiency. The standard form of synthetic folic acid
in most supplements cannot be used until it converts to the
bioactive form - 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF). Unconverted
folic acid cannot be used by the body and will interfere with
the folate-dependent chemical reactions that produce 5-MTHF.
To increase the use of folate in the body Better-Bone™ contains
the more active form - Folinic Acid (5-formlytetrafolate) which
has a high absorption rate and is more easily converted to 5-MTHF.
