Proper Balance of d-Gamma to d-alpha Tocopherols
Most E supplements have a high d-alpha tocopherol content
and low d-gamma tocopherol. This results in the suppressing
of d-gamma tocopherol a powerful free radical scavenger
protecting the blood vessels against oxygen and the various
other harmful radicals created from oxygen. Read UNIQUE

What is Vitamin E?
Vitamin E is a natural substance available in foods such
as nuts, vegetable oils, leafy greens and whole grains.
In nature, the Vitamin E family includes eight compounds:
alpha, beta, gamma and delta tocopherols and alpha, beta,
gamma and delta tocotrienols. Although tocopherols and
tocotrienols both exist in nature, plants differ widely
in their Vitamin E proportions, and tocopherols are the
most abundant form utilized by humans.
Why do I need it?
Vitamin E plays a key role in the health of every cell
in the body. For example. Vitamin E is the body's primary
agent for protecting lipids from oxidation.** Furthermore,
there are endless studies which support the role of Vitamin
E in cardiovascular health, immune function and a number
of other body systems.** Yet, a recent report from the
Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee concluded that nearly
everyone falls short in their intake of Vitamin E. Taking
a Vitamin E supplement helps ensure
an adequate intake of this important nutrient ultimately
promotinq long-term health.**
